- MHMichelle HumphreyAug 20, 20251.0I started a new account and made the deposit electronically. The funds have been removed from the depositing account for a week and Mid First is still holding it. I was told that it was scheduled to be released on Friday, but to call back and see if the local branch could release it on Thursday, when I NEEDED to have access to the money. I called back and of course everything about that story changed. It wouldn’t be released until Saturday and there would Be no way the branch could release it early. There is zero reason to hold electronic deposits for over a week. Then not honor what was told to me by your employee!! Not off to a good start at all.
