- LBLaura BanasDec 20, 20251.0Just a plain awful bank. Holds on certified bank checks for 2 weeks. Spoke with a supervisor that lied about everything she said to me, proven when I filed a complaint. My friend said DON’T bank with Key Bank and foolishly I did not listen, stupid me. Don’t be stupid like me, listen to your friend, stay away from Key Bank, closing my account as soon as a check from Progressive Insurance clears in 2 weeks cause we all know Progressive doesn’t have millions in their account to cover the check, ugh.

Apparently there was a credit card debt they did not tell me about but immediately turned over to a collection agency. They never mentioned there was anything owed. If I could have given them a negative star I would have.
