When I was having a problem with connecting a different account to my Old Fort Banking account, I called and Michelle helped me out so much. Michelle is very nice and friendly. Everyone else always is also.
- DSDennis ShockJul 2, 20191.0The only reason this is a 1 star is because you can't rate the bank lower than a 1 star. This bank is so disappointing. My family has used this bank dating back to the 1940's. My mother recently passed away. Unfortunately we had to go to probate court to take care of the estate. No big deal but one of her accounts was given a monthly charge due to inactivity. My brother had to go in multiple times with different pieces of legal papers and they still gave him a hard time giving him the check. One of my mothers other accounts provided a cashiers check. When my brother deposited it, he was told it would be 20 days until it was clear and be available in his account. A Cashier's Check? Really? From the banks website: "The Old Fort Banking Company is organized for the purpose of profitably satisfying the financial service needs of our clients." This is a lie! This bank is the poorest excuse of a bank for the people not at all worried about the financial needs of their clients. This banks priority is themselves.
