  I am a Key Bank client, and I consistently experience pushback at this particular branch when trying to conduct business. I have had no issues at several other Key Bank locations. Due to my work, I frequently travel around Southwest Ohio, and I plan to avoid this branch in the future. I would also like to suggest that others consider doing the same. While I am pleased with Key Bank overall, I am frustrated with the service at this branch. In my opinion, this location requires attention and additional customer service training from the corporate home office.

  Part 2 : Update on Keybank Case Let's cut to the facts: KeyBank sent a misleading document stating that my funds were unavailable, and the rude and unjust behavior of their employee was acceptable. My partner was able to withdraw the same amount of funds from the same account just 25 minutes after I left the location. It seems that this company main agenda is to protect their unethical practices by any means necessary from this employee Shrida Patel. I will definitely be closing my accounts with this banking institution. There was no sincere apology or acknowledgment of the unjust treatment I experienced throughout this entire process. Part 1: I visited this local KeyBank branch on July 10, 2025. After a brief wait, I was approached by Shrida Patel, a Financial Wellness Consultant. My primary request was to withdraw a specific amount from my checking account. I verified my identity using my KeyBank-issued card and the associated PIN. However, Shrida immediately expressed discomfort about processing the withdrawal, stating, "I do not feel comfortable giving you this money unless you tell me where this money came from." Confused and puzzled by her response, I asked her why she felt uncomfortable providing me access to my own funds. She claimed that the amount I requested wouldn't clear from my account, even though I had specifically chosen a sum that would prevent any fees or penalties. Despite my attempts to clarify, Shrida repeatedly insisted that she would not provide me with my money unless I could prove the source of the funds. Her stern and demeaning attitude overwhelmed me, so I decided to take her business card from her desk and leave the establishment. Immediately afterward, I called corporate to file a complaint. I have been a KeyBank customer for over five years and have frequented this specific location for the past four years. I hope that no other patron has to endure the same unprofessional treatment that I experienced.
