  Anyone looking for recent reviews. Note that as of 2025, this bank and this particular location has the worst customer service out of all the banks in the area. Please go elsewhere. I have been a customer at First National Bank in Solon for many years, along with my family, and have always trusted them to do the right thing for their customers. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed my view. When my most recent CD matured, I went to liquidate it. Later, when I received my tax documents, I was shocked to see a penalty of around $600 I was never informed about. Had I kept the money in the CD, there would have been no penalty, but no one at the bank told me this when I withdrew the funds. I called Adam, the branch manager, to explain the situation. I told him that I had been sick during the time window when I could have avoided this fee, and I was never made aware of the penalty. Given my long history with the bank, I expected at least some willingness to help. Instead, I was flatly told there was nothing they could do. And he kept blaming them for their high turnover and told me to call someone else. When I called back to ask if there was any possible resolution, Adam hung up on me. I've been to this location hundreds of times. I got to know the cashiers as well as the bankers and the managers at this bank. Everyone except this new manager was friendly and helpful. After years of trusting this bank with my money, I am beyond disappointed with the way I was treated. The lack of transparency and poor customer service made it clear that my loyalty meant nothing to them. Because of this experience, I will no longer be banking with First National Bank. There are many great banks around the area with exceptional customer service. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

  I do my business banking here. This is the best customer service - and the friendliest - I have ever received at a bank. I am making a deposit at 3 minutes till close and they’re just as amazing and professional as ever. I will continue to do all of my business through here and I will also consider moving my personal accounts because I am that happy with the customer service.

  Excellent bank to work with. Nice managers and excellent employees. Kathy is one of the best tellers I have encountered over my years of banking! Thank you guys for always being so pleasant to deal with.
