- CMConnie MorrisNov 2, 20251.0When my friend’s son passed away and we went to Key Bank to close his accounts, submitting the death certificate and the administrator signed by the judge for release of his funds. Well the judge’s signature wasn’t proof enough, so they had to send the paperwork to their “Document Committee!” That was unacceptable!! Legally, they were suppose to release the funds, and yet we had to wait 6 weeks! Other banks in Powell and Delaware was cordial and professional when we closed his accounts.We had a horrible experience during a time when we were grieving the unexpected loss. Sad!!!
