  Went in today to open an account. The curt teller on duty answered “Do you have and appointment, we like it when you have an appointment”. I said no I had no idea I needed one, I have never needed one to open an account at any other bank. She asked what looked like another teller if she could help me today. She basically said no. Which the curt teller promptly relayed “sorry we can’t help you make and appointment”. When I started to walk away she was hurriedly said “did you want to make one”. I said “no thanks and began walking. To which the teller robotically said “have a nice day” (she didn’t mean it). I would say they were cold and unwelcoming. I would just be more comfortable doing business elsewhere.

  Waited in the drive up window for 20 minutes and the bank teller returned my money to me without an envelope when I had change and a large amount of bills and I felt like she was very rude

  The banker who did my application is nvr there the branch manager is nvr able to talk either. Was sposed to get a call back next day never got the call back no one knows anything and can give u a 800# that just sends u to a answering machine. gonna cost me 25$ and 2 weeks of calling 1800#s to get my money back avoid this bank at all costs I suggest dollar bank.

  My wife and I had two pieces of mortgage documents we needed signed and this being the bank where I hold an account & the closest to my employer we decided to go here. We sat down with the notary, Jeri, who proceeded to huff and puff and say "You couldn't take these to US bank?" Yes, the documents were for our US Bank mortgage, but I didn't think that warrented such a rude remark. Maybe treat your customers with a little bit more respect.

  This bank allows tellers to take lunch right at the 12o'clock lunch break, leaving only one cashier available for everyone who comes in over lunch. They refuse to take rolled coins without counting them out, even in the middle of said lunch line. Then, to cash a check instead of deposit it, they will require you to pay a $10 fee! While waiting in the lunch line, a couple who was waiting since I came in were approached by a bank manager: they asked why they had to complete the same form as before, again, to get their service. From the responses, it sounded like the bank manager could have looked up their information on the computer but told them they had to complete a new form and bring in separately. (Presumably a notarized document, but don't banks usually employ notaries for this reason?) I've never visited a bank so unwilling to assist customers. The old Citizen's Bank right down the road took the rolled coins without concern and cashed the check without comment. Poor form, Key bank!
