Went in to replace ATM card, asked the teller to cancel the lost ATM card. She canceled my DEBIT card.... I was shocked when I attempted to use my Debit card and the business scanner indicated ACCOUNT CLOSED. Had to go back to the bank to get this straightened out. Having a pleasing personality is all well fine and good; one also needs to pay attention

NO LOYALTY. I've had a business account with Key for many years and have been putting up with nuances here and there but nothing that has made me more upset than 2 experiences that I've had in the last year. I have over 3k directly deposited into this account every month and I have my home equity loan here also. My home branch is in Maple Heights on Warrensville Center Rd. in Southgate. I get an occasional side eye from the teller when I withdraw money because I ask for 100 dollar bills because I'm terrible with a lot of bills. I also have to ask for an ATM increase when I need to withdraw more than 400$ and that's only temporary. I pay it no mind and keep living. But twice this year I had two unauthorized withdrawals from my account. One in January from a security company and one this month from United Health Care. I disputed both of these to no avail. I bank with Chase also and when you dispute a charge on your account they cancel your card, issue a new one and give you a credit for the disputed amount. NOT KEY! Or at least not with me. I disputed the second charge with personal account manager Linda C. Her whole body language and tone made me feel like I was irrelevant as a customer and wasting her time. She did say I would be issued a credit for the amount while it was being investigated. Then I find out 2 days later that they let the transaction go through which caused an overdraft then they hit me with a fee! HOW! WHY! I go and talk to the actual business account manager; Joseph R. and he basically tells me she didn't know what she was talking about and there would be no credit and the fees will continue until the investigation ends (Up to 90 days). WHAT! "I would like to close this account Joseph". No, you can't do that either sir until the investigation ends. They treated me as if I was a criminal that does this all the time. Guilty until proven innocent. Then, that's when I find out the first transaction, I disputed months earlier was declined. Joseph R. says I have to produce proof that I didn't make the transaction. How am I supposed to do that. I never knew anything about the company or how they got my info. I'm a minority business owner trying to get things off the ground so I can free up some time for and provide for my family. I also hold a top position and make great money in the field of Physical Therapy so I have no reason to cheat the system. What happened to the customer is always right. Where is the loyalty! HELL, where is the security for our money! These guys could use a lesson from Chase. I'll keep you posted on this recent dispute but I fear it will end the same. If so, I will refinance my HEL and close my business account.

Do not visit this branch NEVER come here and allow them to handle any cash withdrawals!!!
They did a inside job on my account the same day of visit 9/14/21… they saw me coming.
The next day 9/15/21 I checked my account it was $-11,600 overdrawn! Called the Independence/Rockside branch the consultant said a counterfeit check was dated 8/31/21 and signed by someone name Theresa and cashed on the same day of my initial visit 9/14/21. They asked if I knew a Theresa “NO” I said. Someone got a hold of your account number and did this. Sounds like an investigation for an inside job because it slipped past security and didn’t show up as a cashed check withdrawal on the account. Beware of this branch people you’re money and account is not safe with this branch!!!
