DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK! Truist has got to be one of the worst banks imaginable. They have it so you can use Zelle but when I used it in June, they locked my account and told me that I had to go to the branch I originally opened the account at to unlock my account. A 10 hour drive later and the branch told me that I could have done that from any branch as all they needed to do was see my ID. They never restored my access to my online banking. Then it took months and multiple attempts to close the account from June to November to which they always found a reason that they couldn’t close the account. Every time it’s a new excuse why they can’t close it. This time it was they had accidentally charged a maintenance fee that put the account negative. They refunded their mistake and “now there’s a pending charge so we can’t close the account like you want to.”

An Amazon internet order i placed, ordered 3 & a single 1 kept popping up (a 4th) Truist declined it for some reason which was ok... but they locked my account.... for my protection...called them on the phone but they said I'd have to go into a branch & show ID that I'm Me.. There's no Truist Banks ( formerly SunTrust & BB & T) in the North, no Branches in Illinois, one in Southern Indiana, One in the State of Ohio, Cincinnati. I had to Drive an Hour and a half from after Columbus Ohio to Cincinnati Branch to Show Identification, to show I'm me, so they'd Unfreeze my 4 Truist Bank Accounts.. The Bank Manager calls me a Smart Ass. Tells me he doesn't have to Help me.....I'll never know how much Lost Business that whole ordeal cost me... Im looking at Capitol One, TD Bank, others for my 4 accounts.

I open two accounts with Truist a personal and a business account. I do investing with my investments firm crypto, I sent three ACH deposit from my crypto account into my personal and Truist rejected the third one which went back to my investment account with crypto; however Truist placed a hold and a block on my account. They have restricted me from having any access to my funds which has caused unnecessary stress on me, their fraud department is a JOKE really they hide behind their department leaving customers clueless what to do! They ask me to have my investments firm to fill out a hold harmless agreement and they (crypto) have done that and Truist still have not returned my funds to my investment account. I thought all banks once they have closed your accounts then the next step is to send the customer a check right? But not Truist they have my funds in recovery mode until the sender reclaim them! Well I have been explaining to Truist that I am the sender of the 2 ACH cash deposit! Do anyone at Truist know what they're doing in that department!! WORSE BANK EVER!!! DO NOT BANK WITH TRUIST!!! the branch that I open my account were at the Blue Ash Oh, when I stopped by to see whats going on and demanded answers and Mr. Klye Martin call the police on me!!! Wow! if this is how Truist treat their valuable customers with large amounts of money! Then once this is resolved I’ll NEVER repeat NEVER bank with Truist EVER again!!!

I lost my wallet a few days ago and went to this branch to get a temporary card while waiting for my new one in the mail and Pamela Fisher was absolutely the best, she was sweet and dedicated to helping me in anyways she could. She told me to take her card to call her if there was anything else she could do and it was just such a personable experience in a bummed out moment I was having. Thanks Truist for taking care of me !

This bank is large enough to help you finance a new corporation and small enough to remember your face and greet you upon your visits. Truist is no-longer the Home Town Bank of Kentucky and BB&T it use to be. You could call the customer service number and have just about all of your account issues resolved over the phone, with someone from right here in the United States, and not located in India. While doing banking over the phone, the last thing you want is a language barrier or miss communication with customer service, because you could have your account of twenty one years flagged as being "fraudulent" and shut down with no way to pay your bills! Stay away from this bank, the savings interest is low and mortgage interest is high. Shop around online and find a better fit like I did with PNC over 4.0% on my savings and 5.8% mortgage refinance and new loans.
