- PDP DMar 11, 20231.0I went to this branch yesterday to open a Representative payee account for my brother-as I had been instructed to do by SSA-The experience left much to be desired-The personal banker opening the account ( Sherri)told me she would need to consult with a colleague that had been there for decades(Chris)okay great-however when you are dealing with someone's personal business, you don't yell across the branch & ask questions to the other person, either get up & ask questions or phone over to that person-next when another question was asked, Chris finally came over into the office & was less than friendly when answering questions,(maybe time for a different job?? when you can't see the customer in front of you!!) I have never been a payee before so I don't know all the correct/important questions to ask, what I did ask seem to receive very blunt (why did you even ask this question) type responses-when a person comes into your branch, remember they have come to you for a service(to open an account) & may not have knowledge on certain things pertaining to the account itself!!! (That's why I came in!) A very unpleasant experience visiting the Chardon branch- I also want to point out when I opened my personal account about a year ago, the experience was AWESOME! It was the reason I decided to return to this branch- staff changes clearly matter!
