- F1Foxy 101Oct 16, 20201.0Worst place to get a car loan from. After dealing with them for a few months I'm ready to refinance with another bank just for the piece of mind. They would charge late fees on your payment based on their process date, not the date of payment. Their online payment portal is poorly designed and it took multiple attempts to even set up online access. They make it very difficult to pay online and want you to use their payment portal which adds a "convenience fee." I've never hated a bank until I had the misfortune to discover Westfield Bank. Avoid this bank at all costs.

I had a 7yr car loan through them and I decided to pay it off 2 months early and the woman in the bank told me my total, not bothering to tell me that included a $50.00 fee for paying it off early. Apparently I'm supposed to memorize the loan for 7 years and then after I paid it off Westfield took another payment out and didn't give me a full refund. They said its interest it doesn't matter you paid it all before the automatic payment came out! What a load of crock! 12/09/2019 As an update, NO ONE ever contacted me like the comment below said they would. 01/01/2020 Additional update, a few days after my last update a rep contacted me and Westfield Bank did refund the full $50.14 so I have upgraded my 1 star to 2 stars.

Lied to me and hung up on me when I asked why my account has been temporarily shut down . No one to talk to in a Sunday. Can't use card in Mexico. Terrible!!
