I've been banking online with Flagstar and its predecessor for years, but needed a wire transfer and learned this can only be done in a branch. The Yonkers location was among the more convenient options, but still over 150 miles from home. Once there, after a teller expressed doubts about the time frame and what could be done, Kristyna stepped in and made it happen. Keenly aware of the importance and time sensitive nature of my transaction, she made the effort to also verify that the wire went through successfully. Professional and pleasant, Kristyna made me feel valued not only as a customer but as a person, making me glad I chose this particular branch and making the 6+ hour journey among crazy NY drivers worth it! Corporate please take note, associates like Kristyna Bartolini deserve recognition!

The three consecutive times l went to withdraw money, I left empty handed to to their "technical issues." Also, to top if off, their ATM was always empty; moreover, the employees constantly had attitudes. I can't call the bank and get a representative on the phone, because the wait time is over an hour. The website has not worked for the past 6 days. They won't issue replacement checks. I had bills to pay; consequencely; my bills were paid late. So do yourself a favor and bank anywhere else. At this point, I would rather leave my money under my mattress rather than leave it in a NYCB. If I could, my rating for this bank would be 0 stars.
