Because having to double back just to have it done correctly is a major inconvenience for anyone who is on the clock and running a buisness. The job is easy. Take money, deposit money, give change occasionally. That's all that is expected. But messing any of those up is a major inconvenience. So please. Just do the job you are there do to. Quit if you are a worker, fire the worker if you are a manager. Dont just hire anybody who comes in with a haircut and a jcpenny suit.
