- JCJodi Lynn ConcepcionNov 7, 20251.0For my friend's 50th Birthday. I wanted to get $50 dollars in single one dollar bills. The closest bank was TD bank. It was 5pm and they were the only bank opened until 6pm. I walk into the bank, go to their ATM machine and withdrew a $50 bill. I walk up to the teller and asked if she can exchange the $50 for singles and I told her my idea about my friend's birthday. She thought it was funny and was happy to help until....she asked for my bank card and rejected me on the spot because I didn't have an account with them. It's absolutely frustrating that American businesses, particularly banks, make services so unnecessarily complicated. How can I withdraw money moments ago from a TD Bank ATM machine, but a teller can't do an even exchange of the same currency TD bank just provided me, the same person who doesn't have an account there!! If they must, why can't they just add a fee to the transaction with the teller as they do with the ATM? To be clear this was an EVEN EXCHANGE WITH CURRENCY NOT A CHECK. In any case, this obviously made for a bad day and really bad last minute alternative gifts. But worse for TD bank, because the refi on my 4 bed condo I was considering using them for is now in the trash. Just how their bank treats their customers.

Very bad customer service .i have called customer service and told the supervisor and she said will take the Action . I hope
- CECamila EspinosaOct 20, 20251.0I tried to do a bussiness deposit (which I do daily and in multiple locations such as queens and manhattan) but they didn't allow me to do it, I showed my id and was respectful with them but they indicated that I'm not in the system which is weird because the next day I asked in my regular td bank and they told me that I was there they even read my home address. So I really didn't know what happened and instead of being friendly or polite the guy that was taking care of me just keep saying in a rude tone that I could speak with someone but they would not do anything but suddenly, another lady just step into the conversation with a very disrespectful attitude and tone, she just keep pointing the sheet were it says that u have to be added to the account, which I know I was, she was mean, giving me an attitude out of nowhere and stepping into a conversation that was not hers, no profesional at all
