Everytime I had an unrecognizable charge, they would close out my account and open up a new one. I've been dealing with this bank for over 30 years. I would go in and they would continuously ask me, "WHICH ACCOUNT"?
As far as I know I only had one. When I asked what do you mean they would ignore me. Then they would ask me my address. You don't know it by now, seriously?.
They would ALWAYS HAVE MY PARENTS ADDRESS EVEN THOUGH I ADDRESSED THIS CONTINUOUSLY AND THEY WERE NO LONGER MY PAYEE. THEN THEY CONTINUOUSLY ASKED FOR MY IDENTIFICATION AND MAKE A COPY.
I had OVER 40 ACCOUNTS BEFORE I FINALLY LEFT THIS BANK. IF I WAS OVERDRAWN $10 TO $20, THEY WOULD CALL MY MOTHER AND DEMAND TO HAVE ME TO PAY THEM THAT DAY.
They discriminate against minorities.
I was continuously locked out of my online account.
As soon as I had $14,000 from an online business and told my family member, ironically two seconds later my account didn't have the money and I was told it was a bank error.
The next day I called and they told me that they don't accept international payments.
One day I called and the computerized banking system stated that I had a NEGATIVE TRILLION DOLLARS", when I spoke to a family member and the bank, I was told, "That's what it ALWAYS SAYS WHEN SOMEONE CLOSES OUT THEIR ACCOUNT".
ALONG WITH THAT SAID MY FAMILY WOULD PUT A HOLD ON MY ACCOUNT WHICH THEY HAD NO AUTHORITY TO DO.
WHEN I RECENTLY REQUESTED STATEMENTS THE YEAR MY TAX IDENTIFICATION WAS STOLEN FROM MY FAMILY, THIS WAS THE SAME YEAR THEY CLAIMED I HAD NO ACCOUNT.
Along with that said my neighbor when I was a child, GAVE ME NUMEROUS CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSITS AND NUMEROUS BONDS. WHEN I APPROACHED MANAGEMENT ABOUT THIS, THEIR STATEMENT WAS, "WELL YOU WOULD NEED THE PHYSICAL COPY. ????
DOES THIS EVEN MAKE SENSE??
They need to desperately stop having me call corporate and management in EACH NORTHFIELD BANK, AS I ONLY GET NO RESPONSES, RIDICULED, AND REDIRECTED.
IT TOOK 3-4 MONTHS SO THAT THEY COULD CHANGE MY STATEMENTS AROUND WHILE THEY CONTINUOUSLY STATED THEY WERE MAILED OUT 3X, AS WELL AS KNOWING MY NEW ADDRESS WHILE THEY WERE MAILED TO MY OLD ADDRESS WITH MY MOTHER'S HAND WRITING ON IT.
MY BANKING STATEMENTS STOPPED AND WERE GOING TO MY FAMILY'S ADDRESS.
I COMPLAINED TO THE FDIC. FOR YEARS I GREETED THE BANK CLERKS AND MANAGEMENT WITH KINDNESS AND KNEW MOST OF THEIR NAMES, YES SOMETIMES I GOT ANNOYED BECAUSE THEY WOULD PUT ME ON HOLD VERY LONG, MOCK ME, TRANSFER ME AND THEN I WOULD GET DISCONNECTED.
IRONICALLY ONLY A FEW TIMES I REALLY GOT ANGRY.
THE STATEMENT THAT I RECEIVED FROM THE FDIC, STATED I WAS AGGRESSIVE, THREATENING AND ABUSIVE, BUT THAT MY PARENTS WERE PROFESSIONAL.
SERIOUSLY DISRESPECTFUL TO DISABLED PEOPLE.
I HOPE THIS BANK SHUTS DOWN.

I’d like to share some feedback about my experience at this branch. The customer service could really use some improvement, especially at the drive-through.
During my recent visit, I noticed that several staff members seemed disengaged and weren’t very welcoming. One particular instance stood out – a lady with blonde hair actually rolled her eyes while assisting me, which was quite off-putting and unprofessional.
That said, I have encountered one or two tellers who were genuinely friendly and provided excellent service, so I know the branch is capable of better.
I think customer-facing positions require people who have patience and enjoy working with the public. If someone isn’t suited for that type of role, it might be worth reconsidering their placement. Overall, more consistent training and attention to customer service would make a big difference at this location.

Jeremy Minore no patience when he has to take care of transaction problems opens passbook savings account and links it to your online accounts and acts as though it the customer fault no apologies very disrespectful manner when the bank is at fault.
