I went to the branch in Eltingville with the paperwork designating me as the beneficiary, mom's death certificate and 2 forms of ID. They said I had to wait 30 days from the time of death because it's their "policy". Well, their policy is really bad and they are holding money which isn't theirs to hold. Please keep this in mind if you deposit your money here. Your money isn't really yours. If you are in a bind then you just might be in trouble due to lack of liquidity. I encourage all depositors to pull from here.
