Third time I tried making commercial deposits at this branch and third time teller was confused in how to go about making the transaction. Although all 6 transactions had my very own pre-printed slips, the teller unsuccessfully searched to find special slips for commercial deposits. When the slips were nowhere to be found, I was told she can still make the transaction only thing is, she stared at her computer screen because she said "I can't remember the last time I did one of these". At that point I did't want to chance making over 7K dollar worth of deposits. I did have once before another bad experience where, although I had pre-printed deposit slips, the money was deposited into a different account. They did correct it and apologized after I noticed the last 4 digits were different from mine. Well then I walked over to the Assistant Branch Manager, Ms. Francolino, and mentioned what just transpired. With a very moody face, she replied in an arrogant way, well I can give you slips to make your deposit. I said, I have pre-printed slips, but why is this an issue when attempting to make commercial deposits just in this particular branch? Ms. Francolino again with the same attitude replied, I'll talk to them, meaning the tellers and gave me a stare. She never asked to take my deposits and try and sort this out. I then stood up and as I walked away, she continued the conversation with her friends regarding her boyfriend's business and how well it was doing and the location of it etc etc. The tellers are not at fault here, I strongly believe it's simply a management oversight. Clearly the tellers require additional training to meet expectations. If NYCB is advertising to be a Family of Banks, I should be able to take my pre-printed slips from Atlantic Bank and make transactions at Richmond County Savings Bank flawlessly and not with a confused stare. There is an NYCB in Borough Park, Brooklyn that I sometimes make transactions there, I must say they are very professional, carry out the transactions without issue and I do get greeted with a smile. I believe Ms. Francolino needs to shadow management and tellers at the Borough Park Branch, maybe it'll help her with her management skills. With Atlantic Bank (NYCB), I have a total of 6 accounts. 4 business accounts, 1 personal checking account and 1 small savings account of 100K. I believe it's time to take all my business over to Northfield Bank where I have 2 other business accounts, management greets everyone walking into and out of the bank. Everyone knows their work very well, never an issue. Even TD Bank, with 4 accounts there, never an issue and always greeted with a smile. The poor attitude of Ms. Francolino finally confirmed my decision to take my business elsewhere. As a multi-business owner and Senior Leader at a rather large corporation, Ms. Francolino would not be working for me. Clearly her interests are more towards her side business than NYCB.
