- SCSaikit ChanOct 31, 20251.0I had a very disappointing experience with this branch. I visited the branch to close my checking account, and the staff at the counter told me the account was closed. However, it turns out it wasn’t actually closed. A month later, I was shocked to see that my account went into a negative balance because the bank charged a monthly maintenance fee on what I thought was a closed account. When I went back to the branch to fix the issue, they told me they couldn’t credit the fee or close the account because it now had a negative balance — a problem entirely caused by their mistake. This has been extremely frustrating and inconvenient. I expected more professionalism and accountability from a bank.

Angelo greeted me before I made my way to the line, I was only getting coins but he assisted me happily and opened a booth for me! He also stated I could ask for him if I needed assistance in the future. Shout out to Angelo at Richmond Avenue Citi Bank for fantastic customer service.
