I had a very frustrating experience at this Capital One branch. I originally went in to withdraw $5,500, but the teller, Virasinee, told me I could not withdraw that amount and that the ATM would only allow me to take out $2,000.
When I went to the ATM, however, it would not let me withdraw $2,000 in one transaction. I went back inside for the second time, and was then told to try doing it in two $1,000 increments. I followed that instruction, but the ATM still gave me an error after the first $1,000 withdrawal.
I went back inside for a third time, and another employee, John, asked me if I was trying to withdraw $5,500 or $55,000. I clarified that I had always said $5,500. John then admitted that he had heard me say $5,500 earlier, which is why he wanted to double-check. At that point, both Virasinee and John acknowledged that I could, in fact, withdraw $5,500—contradicting the information I was initially given.
Because of this misinformation, I had already transferred money to another account and was charged a $53 fee to move it back into my Capital One account. I was told this fee could not be refunded, even though it was directly caused by the inaccurate guidance I received from the branch staff.
Overall, this experience was very disappointing. A simple transaction turned into an unnecessary hassle, costing me both time and money. If this matter is corrected in a timely manner, I will happily remove this review.

I took my daughter to Capital One in Eastchester, NY, to fund a Trust account. I had to do this for a second time because the account had expired after a certain period.
She mistakenly told the Teller that she wanted to fund an Estate account. Instead of correctly expressing to my daughter that they don't do Estate accounts, only trust, she just wants to be combative in her delivery. Nevertheless, the attitude of the Teller is just the same as the manager's.
Ironically this person has a very arrogant, rude, antagonizing and condescending disposition towards me the first time I interacted with this individual, I could not understand them over the counter behind the glass to discuss sensitive information and I asked if I can speak with them if they came around, “ They said “no”, after leaving and getting in my car, there they come right outside with another worker to meet with another young man to check out a car and talk for a while. (some service).
As if it's not enough how insensitive a previous teller was staring at the Death Certificate of the person who my daughter was now entrusted with the account, but furthermore to have this young woman be so blatantly insensitive in her delivery of customer service, when she tells my daughter that her relative needs to be here, my daughter explains that they are deceased, she again in her absent mindedness way says “If there’s a trust account then only they can come and open it”. A stupendous candidate pool has been selected for jobs that only require having a good attitude and providing a service.
The welcome and good attitude are selective. I'll spare their names.

So disappointed! Came here to open a business account. They told me they can’t print a paper for me because it’s company policy and customers can’t use the printer. So I had to reschedule for tomorrow so I can print the paper and bring it. Might as well not come back and just open the account somewhere else
