  Absolutely horrendous service. Please go elsewhere. I am an established POA for my mother with Alzheimer's. I had to use my POA status to get access to this account. Took about 3-4 visits because the staff are so misinformed and each will tell you something different. Eventually I was able to get POA access to my mother's account and I understand hiccups happen so it was all water under the bridge until Today. I went in today to get some bankers checks and close my mother's account. I was told right away that I could not do that by the manager. It was only until I advocated for myself and assured them did they speak to their counsel who confirmed I could indeed close her account. There was no sorry, there was no please wait, have a seat or pls let me look into this- the manger scurried off and did not even tell me that she was going to look into it until she came back to tell me that I could. The communication skills, courtesy and professionalism were absolutely horrendous and this is coming from a person who has done banking and has a career based on maintaining good relationships and customer service. Citibank, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Please train your staff - both in how to speak to customers and in your current POA policies. My mother had multiple mortgages and accounts spanning over 40 years and my family will never do business with you.

  Be very careful with this location as they handed me some funny money yesterday. The cash I received here, I took to another bank and the tellers at the 2nd location pointed out the discrepancies (smaller bills, quality of paper very thin) If you can't trust an actual bank to give you legit currency who can you trust?
