  Dear Capital One Team, I hope this message finds you well. I have been a loyal customer of Capital One Bank for over seven years and have always appreciated the service and safety at your branch. However, I wanted to share a recent experience that left me feeling uneasy and concerned—not only for myself but also for the well-being of others in our community. This past weekend around 5 PM, I visited the ATM at your branch and encountered a homeless individual inside the vestibule. While another customer was present, I did not feel safe entering the space. I understand that the increase in homelessness in the neighborhood may be linked to nearby shelters and the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. I kindly ask that instead of involving law enforcement, you consider contacting Breaking Ground, an organization that provides outreach, housing, and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness. They may be able to assist this individual in finding shelter, employment, and other resources. I also urge you not to dismiss this issue as “out of control.” I’ve seen other bank branches close due to similar circumstances, and I believe proactive, compassionate action can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your continued commitment to both customer safety and community .

  Vagrants have been hanging around ATM way too much recently and even sleeping in the ATM lobby. I hope this is not a trend.
