  I've been going to the TD bank in port Jefferson station, NY and have had 100% great service in every way. They are quick, very friendly and always been helpful in every way possible. The workers have always gone above and beyond to make every visit a positive one and have always been kind and helpful. Recommend this bank for anyone who needs a reliable bank with great helpful workers. Always a good experience!

  This bank is hilarious. They are holding my money hostage. Gave my fiancee a check to mobile deposit. No one in the entire bank/company called to contacted her to say that we need to fill out a "form of endorsement". On Nov. 27 they cashed the check (which I verified through the issuer of the check) however, on the 29th we still see that the money is not available. We called and asked what's the hold up? On the 30th not only did they refuse to give us our money but they also closed down the account!!! On December 1st we go to the bank and they see that it is all legit. Dec. 4th they acknowledged that the check has been cleared, but are making us go through multiple hoops because of another account that had a check cashed. WHAT DOES ONE ACCOUNT HAVE TO DO WITH THE OTHER?? Regardless, this is why I hate the bank institutions. They have billions of dollars and are holding my check as hostage. By the way, they never, ever, answer their phones. We were in the bank and we heard them say, 'let it go to voicemail'. There were four associates not helping anyone at the time, the phones are ringing and they don't pick up. This is how much they care. Otherwise nice people 😐

  When Discover charged my wrong bank account that I was attempting to close, resulting in 2 LARGE overdrafts, the ladies at Td Bank in Port Jefferson Station went out of there way to help me sort it all out. They not only gave me direction on what to do but they waived all the fees applied to my account saving me $85. All for a customer who was closing their account! If I wasn’t getting married and merging accounts with my husband at his bank, I would happily continue to bank here because the people are so friendly and have always been super helpful. I will continue to refer friends and family here.

  Frustrating. I filed a Power of Attorney. It was not approved. I don't know why it was not approved. I only found out it was not approved when I went to the bank, months later, to check on it's status. They did not communicate to me. I still don't know why it was not approved. I went back and, this time, modified the checking account to a "Joint" account. The papers were filed. That was not approved. I only found out it was not approved, acted on, implemented, when I went back to the back to check on it. The clerk, a petty bureaucrat, I think his name was Rick, I'm not sure, was worthless. He was willing to give me information about the advanced checking on the account, then wouldn't let me know that there was some money in the account so that a check could be written on the account. I asked him to call me, giving him my home number and cell number, to let me know what went wrong and how I could fix it. He has not called me back. That was 3 days ago. TD bank stinks.
