I had a check to cash that they were able to accommodate quickly and with zero issues. The two folks working the desk were all smiles and extremely helpful. Awesome experience. - LLLukeJul 25, 20251.0Small business owners, proceed with caution. While visiting from out of town, I opened two Navigate Business Checking accounts at this branch. The banker assured me that maintaining a $15,000 average combined balance across my four business accounts would waive the $25 monthly service fees. I ensured my balances always exceeded this threshold. However, I later learned that because my four accounts have different tax IDs, they do not qualify as combined accounts for the $15,000 requirement. This was not explained to me when I opened the accounts. As a result, I was charged $25 monthly fees on both accounts, totaling hundreds of dollars. I contacted my local branch, who directed me to corporate since the accounts were opened in Newburgh. Corporate reached out to this branch, but my request to reverse the charges was denied. This experience suggests either a lack of competence or a troubling lack of transparency. I expected Wells Fargo to clarify the account requirements upfront or take responsibility and refund the unwarranted fees. If they resolve this issue fairly, I’ll consider removing this review. Until then, I advise small business owners to be cautious when banking with this branch.
