In Feb of 2024 I got letter from Wells Faro bank's corporate office, that in December if 2024 the bank was breached by one of its own employees an ex Google employee who had his degree in electrical engineering. And an employee friend was also involved
And all my info was stollen
And I started noticing all these fraudulent charges on my checking acct statements and almost every statement had more then one debit cards numbers in it.And I was not even thinking why all of a sudden I have all these different debit card numbers had fraudulent transactions on them And some were so outrageously strange like I called a branch and told banker to withdraw 467,000
00 dollars from my checking acct. First the bank would never have accepted a phone call withdrawal of that amount of money without seeing ID ,or ut showed I went into a used women's clothing store and made 2 purchases 1 for 5000.00 and same day another one fir 165.00
So I needed to make claims on all these fraudulent withdrawals
I once left a voicemail with the US Attorney General in DC and this bank charged me 117.00 and there were banks saying I had checking accounts with them and withdrawing money. Merchants I never heard of. So I started making claims to refund my money. Their claims dept dies not get ur claim and refund yr money they investigated ur claim and if found fraudulent only then would you be refunded and I was being mostly refunded. But the bank was allowing all the discontinued debit cards that were discontinued due to fraudulent charges that people got a hold of from the breach plus their pin numbers that bank allowed them to use my discontinued debit cards and withdraw let's just say a ton of money. Then hadcthe nerve to send me a letter bc I was making too many claims ( excuse me Corp office u remember u sent me letter all my info was breached so I gas every right bc u hired a young man with a degree in electrical engineering even though I'm sure u put him thru vigorous security and have had a sqeeky clean background BUT COULD BREACH ANY LARGE INSTITUTIONS STSYTEM.
THEN A WEEK AFTER I CAME HOME FROM HAVING 2 EMERGENCY MAJOR SURGURIES I GET A LETTER FROM THE CORP OFFICE TELLING ME BC I WAS MAKING TOO MANY CLAIMS ( WHICH EVEN UR CEO WOULD DO IF HIS DISCONTINUED DEBIT CARDS WERE ALLOWED TO BE USED AFTER A BREACH WHICH IS ILLEGAL) and bc I never returned form they sent me to fill out I never returned WHAT FORM????!!!!!!DISCONTINUED MY DEBIT CARD RIGHT THERE AND THEN AND SAID AFTER THIS DATE U ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO USE OUR DEBIT CARD BUT ON checking statement after date I no longer used their debit card there were still hundreds of transactions made still using my D/C 'd fraudulent debit cards. Then over 2 months after I took all my money out of the bank I get funniest letter from WF FRAUD DEPT TELLING ME I AM FRAUD RISK TO THE BANK ....ME THE RISK WHEN WF COMITTED ID THEFT AND BANK FRAUD AND THEY WANT ..ME TO TAKE MY MONEY OUT OF THEIR BANK WHO ILLEGALLY ALLOWED ALL THE PEOPLE WHO STOLE MY D/C DEBIT CARD #'s and PIN #'sAND ALLOWED ALL THESE PEOPLE,COMPANIES I NEVER HEARD OF TO WITHDRAW ALL THAT MONEY from MY ACCTS BUT THEN I MADE ANOTHER MISTAKE IWAS WITH MY CERTIFIED FINANCIAL ADVISOR FIR LIKE 12-15 YRS WHO REALLY NEVER ADVISED ME WHAT INVESTMENTS TO MAKE AND NEVER ATEND OF YR SENT ME LETTER LIKE CFP's are supposed to do telling I what jis plans for ur money the coming yr.But all these yrs working together we became a little friendly and I stayed eith him bc I really trusted him watching over my money and letting me know when ALIT investments came due if I wanted to invest more
And every year I put more money into that bank. Then fir minths

The manager over the bank teller department is extremely incompetent. I didn’t catch her name but she is terrible at assisting tellers, making decisions, showing empathy & compassion towards customers. My experience at this location was demoralizing. I never pull the black card in an establishment. At this location I was profiled and discriminated against. I received a NY state issued Wells Fargo check for $200. I went to this location to cash it. I was told because my ID address didn’t match the check address, they could not cash a check that was issued out by their bank. After waiting almost 30 minutes for Zan to verify with someone higher than the manager, my check was cashed. I have cashed several checks with my current ID at different locations and different bank branches without issue once the teller has verified the check. I understand that there are people who cheat and scam but as a typical law abiding citizen. It’s so hurtful when you’re just trying to make it thru the week and have these encounters.

One of the woman bankers working here is very rude. I called ahead of time to confirm I could walk in and open an account and was told yes. Even online it says you can walk in. I went in and once I got there I was told I had to make an appointment and they mentioned they could help me since I’m here already. The woman helping me listed a few available times and I informed her that they wouldn’t work for me because of my hectic work schedule. She proceeds to tell me “I understand, retail is hectic, being a cashier is tough.” There’s nothing wrong with being a cashier, I used to be one too before getting a better job, what’s wrong is that she tried to make it into an insult. I walked out and went to Citizens Bank up the block, everyone there was much nicer.
