  I’m confused by what happened here. An employee at this branch (Paul) made me feel unwelcome and basically told me to go elsewhere... I don’t think TD Bank has any policies on whether any customer is limited to which branch they may or may not visit, because I spoke with an agent over the phone who confirmed that I am allowed to visit any branch I like. The agent even put me on hold so that he could contact Paul to acquire an explanation. Paul’s excuse was about some other random account holder’s history with the bank. I’ve never had an account with TD Bank so Paul clearly got this very wrong. Either way, Paul should make some effort to actually confirm who a customer is or isn’t, so you don’t wrongfully dismiss them. I’m not sure how to feel about this experience but it surely did not make me eager to join TD Bank.

  The entire process of find a TD location with a representative or even a hotline representative had been literally the hardest banking experience. I have called over 15 locations and went to a physical open location in harlem, turned away due to limited services... was going to give up until i found paul at madison. he deserves this review. - i had decided to go with TD over BOA based on a bonus offer for my small business - opened account online but couldn't finish depositing money - debit card mailed to my house - no access to my account number over the phone to receive account info - therefore don't know if i actually made an account - therefore can't deposit money unless in an actual branch - therefore worried about it billing me fees for not depositing money - feeling out of time and increased anxiety due to unable to walk in an actual branch at the moment called the madison branch as last resort and if this too shall fail, i will give up on TD. - to my surprise, paul answered instead of a voicemail like countless times before - spoken with absolute clarity and patience - answered all of my questions and provided extra solutions and insight - reassured me on deadlines and requirements - friendly and understanding, no rushing - ended the call feeling extremely satisfied with the service and compelled to write this review to highlight his capabilities This is EXCELLENCE! if he's not a manager or upper position, he deserves to be. 🙏
