- MRMatthew RenickFeb 9, 20191.0This bank is borderline criminal. My wife and I went to change the name on our account after we got married. They took photo copies of our marriage license and our IDs and had us sign some paperwork. They said the change would go through in 48 hours and that my wife would receive a new debit card in 7-10 days. Neither happened, and when I called TD corporate they said there was no record of a name change request or a new debit card. When I spoke with the branch, I was told the only way to find out what happened was to access the bank representative’s email, and she wasn’t in. I was told I would receive a call and email with an answer the next day. I still have not received a call or email - this place is absolute garbage and I am closing my account.

They are unable to bring themselves to help for 5 minutes outside their comfort zone. Just disappointing level of consideration for a customers time.
