I hate the new policy where in order to get a new card you have to give your phone number and they send a text. Went to the branch to get a new card as my account had been blocked and they asked me for my phone number in order to send a text as a verification process. My number is a US phone number and it still did not go through. I tried getting it mailed but they couldn't mail it immediately as I had to change my address since I have moved. The whole process is so unnecessarily complicated and now I am stuck without a card. The staff was very sweet and tried to help as best as they could, but why add this new policy when everything was so easy just last year.

This is literally the worst TD bank in the neighborhood. Whenever I go in with a concern I leave with more problems than solutions. The clerks are no help they always do unauthorized things and then can’t reverse their mistakes due to the manager not being around. They lack zero accountability, empathy, and interpersonal skills. Another time I was using their ATM and the machine did not give me my money when I went to the bank tellers and told them about the situation they were unable to help with the issue and I was out of hundreds of dollars for weeks because they had to “conduct an investigation”. Throughout the day they knew something was wrong with the machine and did not put a sign up to let their customers know of the inconvenience. Long story short do not come here unless you have time to be inconvenienced. 🤷‍♀️

I was looking all around NYC today to get papers notarized. Many places were either closed or not doing notarization anymore. I was relief when I met Johnathan Santos in this TD bank location. He was very considerate and understanding of this difficult time with Covid. I got my paper notarized and no charge. Thank you so much.

Totally had a bad experience at this location. My wife had problems with her new TD account and without a good explanations, she was notified that her account is being closed. At the initial location we went to open the account (TD on Flatlands) we had a reasonable experience. The manager really tried to explain the situation and he did his utmost best to help and retain us and I appreciate him for that. I thought that I would get the same good experience at all the TD branches, but NO THAT IS NOT THE CASE. At the TD Bank on 2nd avenue, this employee, a guy who is a customer representative (at least I think he is), once you walk in the bank, he sits in a room on the left, TOTALLY DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. It did not happen one time, but 2 times and it is a shame for the company. You have those who do their utmost best to help customers and those who don't even care. So in the end I just closed my account. TD corporate, a message to you: train those of all branches better who don't know how to treat their customers and do appreciate those who know how....really disappointed, my first Bank in the US, and I had a bad experience.
