- KHKiki HuangDec 18, 20251.0If I can give 0 star I would. I deposited a check to CD account in a week ago. This is not my first time to do cd with Citi bank. But I can’t see my money in my bank account at all this time. I went to the bank on the weekend but different location in 14th union street Manhattan. The finance manager who name Luis told me he can’t see any records in my account and he can’t do anything. He also said let me go back to the original branch to check out. So I have to wait till Monday but this is big amount they can’t help me as an emergency case??!! Okay, I waited on Monday and back to the 59th Lexington, and talked to Maria who deposited my check on Thursday afternoon, and she said is the back office system hold my money let me wait 48 hours and there was nothing she can do!! Okay, I waited another 48 hours. So I asked can you print a receipt for me? And the answer was they can’t because it was happened on last Thursday!! What a ridiculous response! If you think this was the end? You are wrong!!! I went back again on Wednesday, Maria told me they still not received approval from back office. I said can I talk to your manager? She said oh our manager went to a two weeks vacation!!! And they can’t do anything just told me to wait. It’s been a week, my money is gone and with nothing I did wrong. Excuse me? This is my money why would I wait no reason to let you hold my money for a week now? This is just ridiculous!! I can’t see my money and they won’t help you! Avoid this branch if you can!
