There was only one teller working all day, and it took over 30 minutes just to be helped. I came in needing change for my small business, but was told they couldn’t provide it without a double sign-off — and there was no one readily available to do that. Staffing seemed stretched way too thin. I understand things happen (like call-outs), but with so many Citibank branches and offices across Manhattan, it’s surprising that they couldn’t find support. There were also several employees in offices at the branch, but none appeared to be trained as tellers. Citibank is better than this, and needs to improve customer service at this location.
