  We truly need the option to give zero stars. Citibank has been, without question, the most frustrating and disappointing banking experience I have ever encountered. I made both a cash and a check deposit at one of your ATMs, your machine, selecting an electronic receipt for documentation. Only the check amount was credited to my account. I opened a claim and waited the required 7–10 business days, only to receive a denial stating: “While we see that you attempted an ATM cash deposit, our system records do not substantiate a finding of a cash discrepancy at this ATM. As a result, we are denying your request for an adjustment.” The fact that this is the response, despite clear evidence that the deposit was made, is absolutely unacceptable. I am now forced to escalate this issue due to the sheer audacity of this decision. Once this matter is properly resolved, I will be closing my account immediately. I refuse to continue dealing with this level of incompetence and disregard. I am genuinely appalled by this experience.

  The worst bank experience ever. I went to renew my CD account and link it to my account. I was told to go to the teller at the window. The teller on the counter moved me from one window to the other and then told me to wait in a line. After waiting in line for half hour I was called at the window. I told her that I want to renew my CD and link it to my account. She said “she can do both for me.” Then while she was renewing my CD the line behind me grew. She renewed my CD and gave me the papers. I asked her what about linking the account? She said that I need to wait until she takes care of the line. I asked can you please take care of the account linking too which will probably take three clicks, rather than making me wait again. She said no she needs to finish the line. First of all the staff told me to go to the window to renew my CD. And then they started saying she was doing it on the window out of courtesy. If in the beginning she knew what issues she had to take care of with my CD, she should have told me to wait for the banker right before starting. It is a totally mismanaged and irresponsible staff. Will definitely not give them more of my business henceforth.
