On 9/10/2025 at 9:00 a.m I attempted to deposit $1,600 in cash at this capital one ATM located at , 853 Broadway Manhattan New York, NY 10003 and the machine malfunctioned the cash was neither returned to me nor deposited into my account. To make matters worse, I was informed that the investigation and resolution could take 10 to 45 business days. That timeline is completely unacceptable. This delay is not only unprofessional but is also placing an unjust burden on me due to no fault of my own.

- SESean EMay 29, 20251.0I like Capital One cafes, and usually go to the one near Columbus Circle. However, today I came to this location for a quick coffee and to charge my phone as I sort of lost my family in the crowd and needed ti call them, and I noticed some weird bold guy wearing all black staring at me from one of those seating booths. After I picked up my coffee, he walked next to me and threaten me not to look at him. I didn’t even know what he was talking about. The only reason I noticed him is because he was giving me the hateful look. But being gay, I figured he was just homophobic, so I kinda started feeling shaky and spoke to the guard to just keep an eye on the situation in case he comes to me again. However, I didn’t start feeling any better so I just decided to gulp my drink and leave. After 12 years of living in NYC, I have never felt unsafe for being gay, and now I did. Bottom line, if you are gay, I don’t think you should go to Capital One at this location, as this guy can show up at any time, and he is obviously target gay guys or something. Needless to say I won’t be coming back.
