On May 23, 2024, I visited the branch with the intention of opening a checking and savings account. However, the service I received was far from satisfactory. Upon my arrival, I was informed that the account opening process would take approximately 15 minutes, but it ended up stretching to almost an hour. The representative who was assisting me seemed disinterested and distracted throughout the entire interaction. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism displayed. She informed me she was retired and only work two days a week. Moreover, I was informed that I was being denied the opportunity to open an account due to an outstanding credit card debt from a previous bank. While I understand the importance of financial obligations, the dismissive attitude and lack of empathy shown by the representative left me deeply disappointed. Overall, the experience left a lasting negative impression on me, and I am reluctant to consider banking with your institution in the future. I believe that customer service should be a top priority for any business, and unfortunately, my experience did not reflect this.
