- JVJowell De VeraNov 1, 20251.0I’ve been with Citibank for over 30 years and I am extremely disappointed with Citibank’s handling of my account closure. This was my only bank account where my paycheck and insurance payments are directly deposited. I was informed I would receive a letter explaining the reason for closure within 30 to 60 days, but in the meantime, I have had no access to my funds or clear communication from Citibank. This situation has caused me significant financial hardship, especially since I am currently on workers’ compensation due to a workplace accident and have limited ability to manage my account or make any changes. Citibank’s customer service has been unhelpful and slow to respond, making an already difficult situation even worse.
