- MSMohammed ShakirMay 9, 20252.0I like the location in case someone needs to exchange currency urgently. I wanted to buy Indian currency in case I needed some rupees to pay for porters, snacks, etc, upon my arrival in India. The young man at the counter appeared to be new. He took a few minutes just to quote a price of Rs 54 for a dollar plus an exchange fee when the going rate was Rs 82. That is a difference of 34%. I understand that they need to make a profit to pay for the location, staff, etc., but that is a huge difference in price. Needless to say, I just thanked the young man and opted not to exchange any currency.
