  ATM issue: I tried to withdraw money, but I needed specific bills which this atm didn't give me option to select (but it has different ones). So I cancelled transaction, got my card back, to see that I got charged that amount and it was posted. They couldn't help to retrieve this money back.

  Dos horas esperando atención, al llegar se inscribe en una planilla y hay solo dos funcionarios atendiendo, ni en Colombia sucede esta demora. La sala de espera llena y continúa llegando más personas que se ven desesperadas por la lentitud.

  There are always homeless people sleeping in the bank so the only time you can use the bank is when they have "security" which usually consists of an elderly woman. Today, a homeless person literally was inside blocking the entrance. I tried contacting Citibank but after 3 tries (two of which apparently were in the Philippines (they told me contact the branch?! If there was anyone in the branch there wouldn't be a homeless person sleeping in the doorway!), I was unable to report the issue. What happened to this bank? It's awful.

  Dirty Carpets, Empty Promises I’ve been a regular at this bank for years, and one thing has never changed: the carpets. They’re filthy—and not in the “someone forgot to vacuum” way. These carpets have become a source of recurring allergy attacks every time I step inside. Despite staff assuring me they’re cleaned weekly, my nose disagrees. The reality? They don’t look—or smell—like they’ve been properly cleaned in years. When I brought this up, they blamed the homeless who occasionally walk through. But come on—it’s a public space, and those individuals simply walk in and out like any other customer. Blaming vulnerable community members feels like an excuse to avoid responsibility. A bank, especially one with long wait times and busy foot traffic, should prioritize basic cleanliness—not just for customers, but for staff who spend their entire workday there. If maintenance costs are such an issue, maybe it’s time to ditch the carpet altogether and explore alternatives that promote hygiene and community respect. Ultimately, the condition of this space reflects how little care is given to those who use it daily. And that’s what’s truly disappointing.
