- AHAnn Marie HesseDec 2, 20251.0This Credit Union if the absolute worst. Need help? Good Luck! Call their customer service, they put you in a queue, then ask if you want a call-back. The NEVER call you back. Our brnach contact wont pick up the phone or return my calls. They screwed up an account in Sept and now in Nov-Dec they are sinking to a new low. No help in trying to transfer the money. Essentially, they won't let me have my savings account to move to a new institution. Escalate to a manager? Same deal. Next step is formal complaint to NY & NJ Banking authorities. Very frustrating and I don't know how to get help.

Customer service over the phone are one of the worst I've dealt for many years.The latest one was about this "NO COST FOR MEMBERS" life insurance for members. Its FAKE , i realize that they are been taking money (around $50/y ) from my savings account to pay for this insurance that i never agree for. When i called sfcu ,they blamed the insurance company , but Trustage said is FREE. i want it cancelled.
- GHGerard HesseNov 10, 20251.0Had a CD which was maturing this month. I faxed, emailed and called my rep with highly specific instructions on how to handle the funds. The net result? They 100% ignored my written and verbal requests and did as they pleased, regardless of my instuctions. When contacted, they were highly defensive and could not promise it would be taken care of prompty. It's still not resolved. WARNING: They did as they please once they got my funds. BEWARE. Take 2 on Dec 1. The nnightmare conmtinues. The refuse to trransfer th funds to another bank AND nobody answers the phone. Escalate to manager? Same bad results. WOuld give them zero stars if possible.
