And in all that time, they’ve never once treated me like “just another account number.” The team here is relentlessly kind, supremely helpful, and—most impressively—consistent. I don’t mean consistent like “always out of lollipops,” I mean consistent like “every single time I walk in, no matter how chaotic the world (or my checkbook) may be, they treat me with patience, good humor, and the sort of competence that makes me wonder why they’re not running the entire economy.” They’ve seen me through the usual banking milestones—new accounts, loans, paperwork that looked like it was designed by a cryptographer—and every time, they made it painless. Sometimes even pleasant (a word rarely associated with banking). After all these years, I can say without hesitation: if you want a branch where the staff feels less like “tellers” and more like “co-conspirators in keeping your life financially intact,” this is the one.
