I brought a bogus cashiers check someone was trying to have me cash for business. I was not convinced it was real so i brought it to the bank. They were unsure it was real so they Told me to deposit it and wait and see, I followed their directions and when it was returned they closed my account permanently. I had been a customer for11 years. They did not even call me. Very bad business.

Wouldn’t let me cash a check because I wasn’t a customer but it was a key bank check from one of their customers. I asked to speak with a manager and from the other side of the room she just shook her head and said I heard the conversation and said no. Like no attempt to even try to help or see what was going on. I went to the key bank in Castleton and no questions were asked. They cashed the check and I went about my day. Like they wanted to actually work.
