- TTTarekMay 6, 20221.0After 21 Years I left CITI... The customer service became the main driving factor for my departure. I took all my funds out, every last penny and went across the street (Chase). The long lines are horrible, representatives are very unfriendly, busy with other stuffs (on their phone). Unfortunately, CITI started charging me unexpected fees ($30) monthly, when I called customer service I was unable to understand, it seems like I was talking to someone from Mars. When I walked into the branch to get a little sense of understanding, the representatives was very unhelpful. Failed to adequately explain, and made me go wait on the teller line to pick up my check because I choose to close the account (only one teller on duty on 5/4/22 at 12:45pm). Simply in todays era, this is by far the worst bank. A whole new revamp or change of management is necessary.
