I had a check I sent to Waste Management ‘washed’ and made out for over 6k. As soon as I saw the balance discrepancy (I went to the ATM) I went inside and it was taken care of quickly and professionally. Of course there was inconvenience in that I had to cancel my checking and begin a new one, but it certainly wasn’t the bank’s fault.
