- HGHulin GaoMar 1, 20241.0My experience with the Bank of Hope was terrible. I arrived 15 mins earlier than 14:00 appointment to open a business account, only to find the lobby empty and staff having their happy conversation. I had to wait outside of lobby to 14:00 and initiate contact myself. after 3 mins talk i was informed that the Bank of Hope does not serve home-based businesses, a policy that could have been communicated befor my visit. And that middle-aged woman,first saying is i dont speak Chinese when i m talking to the orther banker. and her name was not even provided, felt dismissive and disrespectful. This experience did not align with my expectations of the high level of courtesy often associated with Korean culture, While I respect the bank's policies, the lack of upfront communication and the unwelcoming service approach were such and disjointed
