Last visit to this bank cashed a 24 dollar check from the dmv and was not charged a fee. Waited for the teller and the manager to use a tablet to scan my id. They were having "technical" problems and was there for 20+ mins waiting for them to figure it out. Today cashed another dmv check and was charged 7.50. I don't have an account but our lovely state of NY apparently does. Stay away from Keybank at all costs. !!!!!!

Horrible customer service and policies. Here in Cooperstown NY visiting and ATM machine took my card. I called to come in and retrieve with ID and copy of bank statement and photo Driver’s license and they tell me they need to destroy card and will make no effort to contact my bank etc.. I had a similar experience with the local credit union and had a completely different experience in 2021. Visitors…don’t use Key Bank. They charge you a ridiculous $4.00 fee anyway.
