  Chris has the WORST customer service. Not helpful, very rude, demeaning, large and horrifically condescending. Will NOT be returning

  Will not be returning. Chris is very disrespectful and has the worst customer service. Never had a problem here before. The customer service has always been polite and friendly except for him. He was also very rude to one of the customers he was servicing whilst I waited.

  You know how you feel when someone lies straight to your face like you're a 7 years old? That's exactly how I felt. I deposited cash money to my account. I then proceeded to do a domestic transfer. This worker there by the name of Christopher started wasting my time giving me the run around. After he verified me(saw me deposited funds minutes earlier, provided him my ID which has the same home address as my banking profile, sent code to my cell phone and also have my debit card). The incompetent, racist worker still told me "well, you know there are certain things you can do at your local branch that you cannot do in another state". It could be true but simple, below 10k usd wire transfer wouldn't certainly be one of them. This branch is only 2hrs away from my home. So, I called him out on it. Why? Well, because I'm not a child. I know when I hear B.S. He said let me talk to my manager. He grabbed my ID and debit card which he had no business of doing since you're just going to ask your manager a general question about sending wire transfer out of state branch. I mean I can't be singled out of this since I passed all the security checks. I sat there for a good 10mns and he never came back with a decision. See? I wanted to talk to the manager face to face instead of him going in a dark place to do so on my behalf. The clock was against my favor since wire cut off is 5pm. I asked his co worker to call him over because I had to leave. I went to the other branch down the street, Monroe, NY. I met a sweet lady who sent my wire transfer with the same security system he had used before. No further questions were asked. I had already already read all the negative reviews here and they are not lies. The folks at Chester are really awful, the lowest of the lows. Not financial advice but I believe TD bank should seriously think about shutting down this location. Of course we can't make everything be about racism but one comment caught my attention. He said "if you're black, don't go to this branch." After my experience, he is probably right. I did report Christopher for treating me the way that he did. There's no excuse for it. I know I'm a small customer but some actions should be taken against this employee.

  Went to TD Bank to cash a TD Bank check for a job I did for a friend. They refused to cash the check and told me I have to open a business account to cash the check. I explained the TD check is made out to me. I was treated like a criminal. I was yelled at by a rude woman telling me to lower my voice. Instead of coming up from her desk to investigate the situation she sat on her lazy place. I left and went to Monroe and they cashed the check without a question. The teller thanked me for my 38 years of service.
