Today, I reached out to Key Bank in Chatham, New York, and I must express my disappointment regarding the manner in which the Branch Manager communicated with me, as well as her apparent lack of empathy for my circumstances. I had Wells Fargo on the other line, and we were both quite surprised by the Branch Manager's cold and discourteous demeanor towards my situation. She was essentially very impolite, stating that she did not need to be part of the call, and subsequently disconnected the call on us. I was embarrassed this was my bank, and the Wells Fargo Customer Service, who was on the other line, also stated "wow". If you feel you are in an empowered position, or you feel entitled to treat people with such disregard, perhaps you should not be in Customer Service. You lead by example, if you present yourself this way, your other staff will follow. One particular staff was also borderline rude. Why I needed to speak to the Manager. Even if you do not feel others situation, faking it might be a better start.

Avoid this branch like the plague.
You ask for help and the only answer they know is "sorry, there is nothing we can do." There is not a single competent employee there. Do not use.

Waited for 30mins to cash a paycheck in the drive thru ,only had 1 lane open and the lady who was supposed to take care of my check walked away from the window . Another woman had to come to cash my check , took another 5mins to cash the check . Terrible service ,wish they never changed ,it's been terrible ever since .
