  Here it is a quarter to 10am on a Saturday where the bank closes at 12pm and this location seems to struggle with opening on time. Atleast 10 of us are standing in 40° weather in hopes we can access our accounts.

  Northwest Bank's service has been underwhelming. When I deposited over $200 at their ATM, it failed to process the transaction correctly and seized my money and card. I am now attempting to resolve this issue with the bank. They are very slow. If I had misappropriated over $200 from them, I would be in jail. Great staff on Jefferson but very bad experience when calling the 1800 number to make a claim. On 6/20/25 I deposited money into the ATM machine. It spit most of it back out so I made sure they're wasn't any folds or crinkles than tried again. This time it took over $200 when it jammed up. It kept me card as well. I thought no big deal, I'll go back the next day and they seen on camera what happened plus, the machine is definitely over and probably stored with my debit card. They still haven't given me my money back and it's almost been a week. This is a major loss for me, it left me with nothing and overdrawn. If the rolls were the other way they definitely would be talking about prosecution the following day. They wouldn't have given me one day to give back the money or they would choose my account. This isn't the first or second time I've had issues with this banks corporate office. As I said before, the staff are great here and they are always pretty nice to deal with but the 1800 corporate office isn't helpful.

  I been with Northwest since 2016, I been to every location in Buffalo NY and they always have great customer service BUT this particular branch on Jefferson is thee worst location to go to, they ATM machine outside always down, or looks like it not trustworthy for you to put your money in that ATM. I goes there on Sunday to load cash in they ATM because it was closer to where I was heading to, and they took my money and immediately spit it out and they machine was beeping so loud for 20 minutes and then they took my debit card! Called them this morning and a man answer and put me on hold and never came back, called back and now they say it’s closed! Had to call 4 other locations to have them call them and ask them to take it off the after hours machine so I can get through, the man finally answer and said because my card was in the ATM outside there nothing they will do for me but for me to call and it get a new Card! I will NEVER GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION!!!!!!

  Hello i am 18 and i just opened a bank account at Northwestern they make every thing easy to understand i recommend that if you are young and you are trying to open a bank account and establish credit i feel that Northwest is the perfect place for you😊
