- RPR. PieDec 21, 20251.0I NEVER post any reviews up but after receiving a letter from them stating they are closing my account, I felt compelled to warn everyone from banking at TD bank. TD bank is the absolute worst! They closed my account for no real reason and BANNED me from ever opening up a new account in the future. I would rather eat dirt before I even think of opening up another account with them again after this BS to begin with but it’s the principle of the matter! Why ban me to begin with as if I’m committing scams! I’ve never overdrawn on my account, never make any large suspicious deposits or withdrawals, never made a million transactions at once, basically never caused any problems with them yet they decide to close my account and ban me without giving me an actual reason! Only real reason I had an account with them is for convenience, because this branch is very close to my house to make small transactions if I need to quickly. I’ve had other accounts elsewhere much longer than with TD bank and I have not ONCE felt like my account is at risk of being closed down! In fact, my accounts there are still in good standing with them. To anybody who’s thinking of banking with TD bank, RUN because they don’t care to do long term business with you. They will probably randomly close your account and ban you like they did to me.
