- PPPeterAug 23, 20251.0Could not close my back account because I did not have a saving book with me, no managers available, employee refuse to help me, file complain about the employee ,provide her name . Customers service advise me to google the rules , which littery say Yes, you can close an account at Dime Community Bank without a passbook. You will need to verify your identity, but the passbook is not required for the closure. Beware

She has provided me excellent customer service. When I need something, she goes out of her way , above and beyond to help me with any banking needs or questions. Her personality shines always and I am very appreciative. Cecelia, the manager has also been great, always helpful and has helped me as well with some of my banking needs.
