ATMs are always out of order, don’t have recipe paper or can’t dispense cash. It’s ridiculous.

Today at 11:30 am on Saturday July 15, 2017 I walked into this branch for assistance because I was not told that when I opened up my account on June 27 (at another branch) that if I were to do a ATM check deposit that it would take 5 business days to have my funds released. So when I got my check I tried to come to this branch to speak to a teller to depot it directly but the hours to this branch suck. I had no other way of depositing my money other than through the ATM because this branch closes at 4pm on Thursdays. As days went by and I didn't see my funds released I called Citibank and that's when they told me about the policy for holds on newly opened accounts. I was told the only way to have it released was to speak to the branch manager directly, which is the first thing I did the moment I walked in. I spoke to a gentleman who was working on the floor who had his own office that I needed to speak to a manager to have my funds released. He then told me to sign my name on the lists with everyone else who was there for simple matters and didn't need to speak to management like myself. I waited an hour sitting there seeing other people being pulled off the list fast but I notice that when it was my turned to be called, the same guy who told me to sign the lists started to walk around and disappeared. It wasn't until I got frustrated and got on the empty line to speak to a teller about my situation that he decided to finally come to me and tell me that the manager is on the phone. I find it hard to believe a manager is unavailable on request and is on the phone for an hour without anyone of his staff telling him that a customer needs to speak to them urgently and that they're waiting for a long time. So luckily I was fortune enough to deal with a professional female bank teller at the window that I was able to explain my situation to the manager for me and had my funds released within 5 mins. All that time and aggravation when it could've been handled through the teller in less than 10 mins is mind boggling to me. I hope that if I ever have to step foot in this branch that the customer service is better especially if and when a customer is requesting to speak to the manager directly.
