- JBJames BarchardOct 7, 20251.0My account was restricted by Trustco bank for no apparent reason then this bank decided to charge me a fee for each transaction that was denied since the total amount requested, but not received, exceeded my available balance. In two instances the person swiped my card twice without my permission after it errored out as restricted. This is a terrible bank.

Lol It's called your hometown Bank because they are excellent providers at the branch level. Employees like Aysha H. Malik and her staff at Loudon Plaza in Albany are customer centered - friendly, helpful and professional. I know boomers prefer the brick and mortar, and with good reason: when you have a problem with banking, and you will, it's nice to have sit down with a knowledgeable banking expert like Aysha.
