The reason for the visit was to inquire about checks that I had ordered on August 20th at the TrustCo branch in Newton Plaza that have still not been delivered. I met with Omar and relayed to him the details of my August 20 visit where I went to make a name change to an account and order checks. In speaking with Omar today, he discovered that the name change had not been done and that checks had never been ordered. Incompetence. Although Newton Plaza took their time getting back to Omar with the documents he had requested from them, Omar was quick to get to the bottom of the situation and rectify it. His proficiency and expertise was a great comfort as he properly cleaned up the mess. Omar was transparent and showed me everything he had done to remedy the situation. He apologized a couple of times for the length of time I was there and for having to go through the situation altogether. Omar is incredibly skillful in his position and his know-how gave me confidence that I would not have to revisit the bank for issues regarding this going forward. His customer service was excellent, his professionalism second to none. I cannot thank you enough Omar for correcting this situation. With gratitude...
